Resonant Oscillations of Josephson Current in Nb‐Bi <sub>2</sub> Te <sub>2.3</sub> Se <sub>0.7</sub> ‐Nb Junctions

Josephson proximity junctions and devices employing topological insulators are promising candidates for realizing superconductivity topologically protected quantum circuits. Here, the new type of oscillations critical current in ballistic Nb-Bi2Te2.3Se0.7-Nb subject to magnetic fields is reported. The appear below ≈400 mK have a very unusual sharp-peaked shape. Their ultra-short period ≈1 Oe, by orders magnitude shorter than expected periodicity due fluxoid quantization device, corresponds extremely low energy scale μ $\umu$ eV. It established that observed effect resonant transmission Andreev quasiparticles via peculiar levels forming near S-TI interfaces.

Oscillations of the superconducting critical current in Nb-Cu-Ni-Cu-Nb junctions.

We report on experimental studies of superconductor-ferromagnet layered structures. Strong oscillations of the critical supercurrent were observed with the thickness variation of the ferromagnet. Using known microscopic parameters of Ni, we found reasonable agreement between the period of oscillations and the decay of the measured critical current, and theoretical calculations.
